About Susan
Susan Keller has been advising businesses and their owners from startups to sale for over twenty five years, as a lawyer and a business advisor. Susan’s skills, experience and expertise are complimentary to those of a business owner who is entrepreneurial and wants to scale and grow their business. She can be the bridge between the vision of the founder and the implementation of their plan for execution and results.
Susan advises entrepreneurs and business owners on how to properly structure a new entity, manage the daily business issues and provides entrepreneurs, senior management and business owners with the expertise and strategic guidance to facilitate company growth. Susan has the ability to take a complex problem or situations and establish a methodology around how best to execute with the right people and resources. As a corporate partner at a national law firm, Susan’s practice focused in the areas of corporate counseling and business transactions. Her clients included large, established corporate clients; both privately held and publicly traded, as well as start-ups in various sectors. Observing and working with CEO’s and senior management afforded Susan access to a wide range of management styles and ideas for growth and change. Through Susan’s work in the angel and venture capital community, where she advised investors on the structuring of their investments and the management of their portfolio companies, she saw a need for an organization to support women in the venture capital and private equity space and co-founded the Women’s Association of Venture & Equity.
Susan also has extensive experience in the area of corporate finance, including private equity financing, senior and subordinated debt financing representing both lender and investor and company and borrower. Susan is a leading expert in all areas of precious metals consignment financing and representation of companies in the jewelry industry.
Susan spends considerable time counseling business owners and entrepreneurs.
